FirstMate’s Turkey formula uses food grade, free-run Turkey. This formula is nutritionally complete but feeding with one of our dry options could be quite complementary. The formula simplicity makes this an ideal solution with food allergies or stomach sensitivities.

This is the best food, EVER. I have 2 rescue cats, both of whom had a rough start in life, but are the happiest of felines now that they are getting First Mate canned food. My boys coats are GORGEOUS, their eyes clear and sharp, and allergies are gone!! GONE! If you have never tried this food, TRY IT! Literally the best! No weird cat food smell, just good, clean food! Special share, their poop doesn’t smell as foul either. (bonus)
I am so happy that my picky eaters love this food!! It’s also great that you can easily switch flavors up w/out upsetting their tummies!
LITERALLY THE BEST FOOD EVER!!!

We adopted 12 year old Cricket in early 2018 from a small, local rescue. The year Cricket spent at the rescue was very stressful due to being bullied by the other 11 cats there. Shortly after we adopted Cricket, she was diagnosed with stomatitis and had to have all of her teeth removed. At the same time, Cricket was suffering from horrendous GI issues. Cricket was put on prescription food for IBD which never helped her symptoms. She was also on meds for IBD which helped temporarily but she continued to have nightmarish GI flare ups. Earlier this year, Cricket had a flare up that several visits to the vet, prescription food, medication and tons of TLC didn’t help. I had been researching wet cat food for years and could never seem to find a food I wouldn’t feel guilty feeding my cat. A few months ago, I found FirstMate canned Cage Free Turkey which my vet thought might help Cricket. A couple of months ago Cricket had exploratory surgery and was diagnosed with IBD. Unfortunately, she needs to be on steroids but we continue to feed her FirstMate and she looks positively radiant and runs around the house like a kitten.
