I’ve been feeding Kasiks canned Turkey formula for a week now and my cat loves it. My cat had a recurring rash on her face that my vet thought might be food related so after doing a lot of research, I stopped giving my cat dry food and started feeding her Kasiks canned food. There is lots of moisture in it so I know my cat is getting her liquid along with her food. I love the fact that there’s no gums or thickeners in it and the protein source is high quality.
This is one of the best most natural canned cat foods I’ve ever seen and I’m hoping it will be the answer to her rash problem.

This product puzzles me (and probably confuses my cats, too). They all LOVE it when I first put it out–even my very fussy cat who won’t really eat any wet food. However, when it’s left it their feeder (automatic Sure Feed activated by their microchip so it stays fresher), they refuse to eat it after, say, an hour or two. This is a problem since I expect them to eat the can over the course of the day. I have experimented with not giving them any other food, and they still won’t touch it (more than a lick) after a couple of hours at best. This doesn’t happen with any other canned food (and we’ve tried many!).

Picky senior cat chooses this over all other foods. ONLY this one, though. And it has to be the smaller cans. I don’t understand that, but … cats… I like buying local. And I like it when the old putty tat eats. Win-win!

I am so grateful to the wonderful associate at the local Global Pet Foods store for her highly recommendation. Long storey short, my cat has food allergies. I tried so many bands, nothing worked. I was so distraught. Until my prayers got answered, I finally found a wet food that my cat loves and it’s really good for him. I am so thankful to the people of FirstMate, they are mine and my cat’s lifesavers!! My cat’s allergies are finally going away. He’s noticeably happier and more playful.
