FirstMate's Australian Lamb uses grass fed, free range lamb without added hormones or antibiotics. This limited ingredient diet is great for dogs with allergies and diet restrictions. Fewer ingredients makes this formula easy on digestion. The small bite kibble is perfect for smaller mouths.
The chicken fat used in FirstMate Pet Foods is processed free of protein, eliminating the risk of allergies derived from chicken.

my pug puppy loves loves the Australian lamb meal .. he eats so fast he almost swallows the bites .. I usually feed him by hand to make sure he chews a bit .. I wish the bite was a bit bigger .. great food!

Well my Chihuahua’s INHALE it; refuse to chew it even with their little remaining teeth so yes it is a HIT. Since they barely chew it I make sure to soak in a bit of warm water but they still inhale it :). Awesome food.

My chihuahuas think this is the best food ever. The cats want it too! I bought it at a local pet store. It is so nice to have the small bites because of one my dogs chokes easily.

Finally found a food both of my dogs with different food allergies can eat. I spent hours searching for suitable food. They love it

We have recently started feeding our 15 year old Staffie/Rottie/Dobie the small bites Australian lamb, and he loves it. The important point is that he is darn near toothless, and can more easily manage eating the small bites than the regular sized First Mate, which he has been eating for at least the past eight to ten years.
Unfortunately, the small bites is only available (so far) in small bags (12lbs.) My comments, therefore are not directed at the product inside the bag, but toward the size of the bag. Will you be producing a 25 lb. bag of small bites in the future? I can appreciate that automated packaging machinery is usually built to handle a certain size pellet and size of bag.
Thank you.

My adopted Cocker Spaniel whose age is a mystery has been eating nothing else but the Australian Lamb meal since she was rescued from a breeding farm 4 months ago. She just loves it! I’ve recently begun to mix in both bite sizes and use the small bites as her treats, too.
